Locals know, Houston’s historic East End is a provincial pulse point. We especially feel the way music resonates on this side of town. Indeed, the hood has served as a something like a sounding board to the evolution of the city’s sound.

Perched on Lamar Street, a couple of blocks south of 2nd Ward, we worked in the Green House, a converted residential space that functions as an office, studio, gallery, and loft. On our front porch, we chopped it up with visiting artists and musicians from New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Austin. In the back patio, we hosted the City of Houston itself for a creative mixer. Daily, we partnered with masterminds who with their work etch the groove between timeless cool and current taste.

This month, we bid farewell to the Green House. The time has come to make a move. Thank you to the East End, to the studio, and to you.
